Playing Dress-up Santa!

Here’s a Christmas game idea for your holiday party. . . Playing Dress-Up Santa!Those who want to get a little crazy while having fun this Christmas will definitely enjoy the game of playing Dress-Up as Santa, with a twist! For more laughs, it may be fun to have a camera or a video camera to take footage of what is happening. This will make people even more hysterical over the outcome of the game. To begin this game, you must create a box containing the basic Santa costume, alongside other items that are not exactly things Santa would wear. Obviously, not everyone owns a full-blown Santa outfit, so you have the choice of purchasing one (it comes in handy every Christmas, anyway) or renting one. Purchasing one would cost about a hundred dollars, but will definitely cost less in a store that sells previously owned costumes. Put the suit in a box, a trunk, or a suitcase. Include variations on usual Santa outfit: for instance, change up Santa’s boots into stiletto boots, or rubber boots. Add jewelry, feathers, a crown, a cowboy hat, and all other items that Santa would not normally wear. Mix it up with as many crazy items that you can put together. During the party, get volunteers to play the game. It’s going to be fun to have a lot of people join in, so that you will be able to award prizes for the funniest, fastest, or craziest costume combinations. This will encourage each to go as crazy and as funny as they possible could. Individuals who will be dressed up as Santa will have to  be blindfolded. Once this is done, start the time! Each team will have to dress their Santa appropriately, using only the materials that are available inside the trunk you’ve stocked up on. Tell them to get creative and add new twists to Santa’s outfit to make sure that the rest of the “unexpected” garments you put in the trunk will be utilized as well. After all, you did equip your trunk with unexpected items, like Halloween costume items, fairy wings, crowns, boa feathers, and the like. Once the team says that their Santa is finally dressed up, remove the blindfold. Each person in the room can have a good laugh over how the Santa was dressed up. After all, it’s going to be crazy having a Santa dressed with a princess crown and a black cape. Take photos of each participant to immortalize the humorous moment. You can either provide a separate costume sets per team and make them play altogether so that no one gets to have unfair advantage over seeing the materials first. Otherwise, allow the first team to dress their Santa up away from other people. Then, take photos of the team before the next team enters the room to take their turn to dress up their Santa. Decide on the winner once all the participants have been dressed. You can pick the one that got dressed fastest, but you can also give an award for the Santa with the funniest twist. You can award simple prizes, like candies or candy canes, in the spirit of good, clean fun. You’ll even have photos to laugh about after the party!
