“We’re here!” Mom yells happily. “Oh! Joy!” I say sarastically. “You excited, Justy?” “Yup, ecstatic,” I say staring down at my phone, texting Ryan. “Oh come on, It’ll be great fun! Now close that thing now before I take it away from you!” I don’t want my phone taken away from me right now. I can’t live in this hell hole for 2 months without my phone. So I close it, pick up my bags and heave them over to the veranda, out the front of a large cottage, with balcony’s, and large windows everywhere. There’s a lake just infront of the cottage and it’s surrounded with trees and thick, green grass. Just then, another car pulls up next to ours. Out comes a middle-aged woman, about moms age and starts running at mom, a man, follows behind her. “Pattie!” She yells happily. “Joe!” Mom yells back equally as happy. They hug and then pull back and look at each other. “You haven’t changed a bit!” The other woman, who, I’m guessing is moms best friend, says holding onto moms shoulders. “Neither have you!” Mom says back, holding onto…I think her name’s Joe…Joe’s shoulders too, “This is my son, Justin,” Mom lets go of Joe’s shoulders and turns to me. I smile, put my hand up and then I let it drop. “Well, You’ve quite a handsome son, Pattie,” Says Joe smiling. “Oh, I know!” Mom says laughing, and this must be Roy, you’re…husband?” Mom says gesturing towards the man. The man nods and puts his arm around Joe. “Yes, I’m her husband,” He says smiling and rubbing Joe’s arm. Joe smiles and …
