hi im obviously a drummer and i was wondering about all you drummers out there what shoes do you wear? I use the adidas sambas but i heard manyyy storys about everything from ballet slippers to cowboy boots lol. just seeing what everyone else uses

it all depends on your own taste, some play bare footed, some play with boots on, though what i like and alot of pro drummers i see in bands are. . . . (drum roll). . . . . . converse shoes, love em, they have flat
bottoms, which gives me a great feel when my foots on the pedal and gives your foot good support while playing. and the best part is, there not expensive got a pair the other day for $20

I prefer flat soled canvas type shoes. They’re light, and because the sole is thin and flat, i get a good solid feel as to where my toes are on the bass drum pedal. I use Macbeth Eliot’s, but Chuck taylors will be a good equivalent.
Adidas Sambas are great too imo. I think Ahead or Gibraltar made drumming shoes but they were gay as hell.
